Cromdale Holdings Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian company that develops and operates Idle Business Tycoon: SelfMade™ ("the App") and this website. This Privacy Policy applies to both the App and this website, for all users worldwide. By using the App or this website, you agree to this policy.
No account registration is required. We do not directly collect, request or store your name, email address or other contact details. All game progress is saved locally on your device only, using your device's built-in storage — we have no access to your save data. If you choose to upload a photo for your custom avatar, that photo is stored locally on your device only, the same as your save data — it is never uploaded to any server, and we have no access to it. The App does not currently offer cloud save or cross-device sync, so uninstalling the App, switching devices, or resetting or losing your device will permanently delete your save data (including any custom avatar photo) — we are not able to recover it for you.
The App uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded video ads, for example to earn a bonus or speed up a purchase. AdMob can collect and use device identifiers — including your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) — and general device and app-usage data to select and measure ads. On iOS, the App requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before this identifier is used for personalised ads; if you decline, you will still see ads, just not personalised ones. Apple's SKAdNetwork is also used to measure ad performance without relying on your device identifier. You can review or withdraw tracking permission at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. An optional in-app purchase is available to remove ads entirely.
Both the App and this website use Google Analytics for anonymous, aggregate insights only — general usage trends such as which features or pages are used, how long a session lasts, and which buttons are clicked. Within the App this runs through Google Analytics for Firebase; on this website it runs through standard Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technology and may collect your IP address, device and browser information, and general location. In both cases the data is anonymous and aggregated, is never linked to your in-app identity or save data, and is not sold or shared with any third party beyond what is needed for Google to provide this measurement.
The data described above is processed by Google (Google AdMob and Google Analytics) under Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any third party beyond what is needed for Google to deliver ads and measure App and website usage as described above.
You can decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt or change your choice at any time in your device's Tracking settings, purchase the ad-removal option in the App, or use your browser's cookie and privacy controls when visiting this website.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection law — including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for targeted advertising. We do not sell your data and, as described above, do not directly collect or store personal data ourselves — everything you play stays on your device. SelfMade is a fictional wealth-building simulation. All figures, investments, properties and assets within the game are entirely fictional and do not represent real financial instruments or advice. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making real-world financial decisions.
All company names, stock tickers and brand references within the game are deliberately fictionalised and do not represent real companies or securities. Any resemblance to actual persons, organisations or financial instruments is purely coincidental.
In-game currency and assets have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn, sold or transferred under any circumstances.
Optional purchases are processed securely through Apple and subject to Apple's Terms of Sale. One-time purchases do not renew. The SelfMade Business subscription is $1.99/month, renews automatically, and can be cancelled any time in your Apple ID account settings. All purchases are final except where required by applicable law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SelfMade on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, sell, rent or create derivative works from the App, in whole or in part, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
You agree not to use cheats, exploits, automation software (including bots or scripts), or hacks of any kind to gain an unintended advantage within the App, and not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or the systems used to operate it. We may restrict or discontinue your access to the App in response to a breach of this section.
Game progress is stored locally on your device only — we do not keep a copy on our servers and the App currently has no cloud save or cross-device sync. If you uninstall the App, replace or reset your device, or your device is lost, damaged or wiped, your save data will very likely be lost permanently and cannot be recovered by us. You are responsible for your own device backups if you wish to guard against this.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the App, you agree that we may use them freely, without any obligation to credit or compensate you, to improve the App or develop new features.
SelfMade is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any save data will never be lost, corrupted, or reset.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cromdale Holdings Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Without limiting the foregoing, we are not responsible or liable for any money you have spent (including on in-app purchases) or time you have invested in the App as a result of bugs, glitches, errors, downtime, or other malfunctions of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law (including Australian Consumer Law for Australian users), our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or used the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply.
We may update, modify, suspend, remove from sale or distribution, or permanently discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. If we do so, you will not be entitled to any refund, compensation, damages or other remedy for any money you have spent (including on in-app purchases) or time you have invested in the App, except where required by applicable law. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Australian Consumer Law applies to Australian users.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cromdale Holdings Pty Ltd regarding the App, and supersede any prior agreements.
